What is SOS Networks?

S.O.S NETWORKS (SSN) is an 18-month Erasmus+ Small-scale partnership in youth (KA210-YOU) that officially runs from September 1, 2025, to February 28, 2027. This transnational initiative is dedicated to building climate resilience through community volunteering, directly addressing the urgent need for international cooperation and disaster preparedness in the face of increasing environmental crises.

Our Mission

Our project aims to bridge the gap between motivated young people and organizations on the front lines of disaster response. By combining climate change awareness, volunteering, and humanitarian aid into a single sustainable digital platform, we empower the next generation to take active responsibility for their communities. We are specifically focused on tackling the devastating effects of natural disasters, such as the February 6 Kahramanmaraş Earthquake and recurring floods and droughts across Europe.

Strategic Priorities

The project aligns with horizontal EU priorities by focusing on the Environment and the fight against climate change. To achieve this, we are integrating digital youth work into our methodology, using online platforms and video training to reach a wider audience and promote sustainable behaviors. Our mission is to transform the way Generation Z engages with climate action by moving from passive awareness to active, organized participation in disaster prevention and recovery.

Our Vision for the Future

By fostering a spirit of European solidarity, we aim to make societies more resilient to disasters. Studies show that international collaboration between volunteers and experts can accelerate response times by 30%. Through our training videos, guidebooks, and digital network, we are creating a permanent foundation for active citizenship and environmental protection

Our Logo

Our logo represents unity, protection, and collective action. It shows how people come together to support one another when disasters and emergencies affect our communities.

The hand stands for care, safety, and solidarity. The three figures symbolizes volunteers, partners, and communities working side by side.

Responding to crises is not about one person – it’s about a network. And together, we are stronger.
