To achieve our vision, we have set the following concrete goals for the project duration:
- Skill Development: Train 150 young people (aged 18-30) from Italy, Turkey, and Austria in climate awareness, crisis management, and stress response, aiming for an 80% improvement in skills.
- Capacity Building: Organize dedicated sessions for 15 NGO representatives to strengthen their ability to coordinate volunteers and collaborate with public institutions during emergencies.
- Digital Connectivity: Develop the S.O.S Network website to connect at least 1,000 young users and 200 NGOs, providing a centralized hub for volunteering announcements and educational resources.
- Practical Knowledge: Produce a “Digital Guide for Combating Climate Change” that features interactive sections for volunteers to share their field experiences and keep the guide updated with real-world insights.
Who are we reaching?
The project is designed to serve and collaborate with three primary target groups:
- Young Volunteers (18-30): Individuals who want to gain environmental awareness and contribute actively to disaster preparedness.
- Civil Society Organization (CSO) Workers: Professionals in environmental and humanitarian fields who require better tools for volunteer coordination.
- Public Institution Employees: Local government and crisis management staff who aim to build stronger cooperation networks with youth volunteers
